In a groundbreaking project of Shell Deutschland GmbH, Deutsche Postbank AG and Wincor-Nixdorf, a comprehensive automation of all cash processes for the German network of Shell gas stations was achieved.
All cash replenishment processes in the project are controlled by VOEB/ZVD-Bank, a subsidiary of Postbank, optimized by the CPTO® solution of planfocus software GmbH. The implementation was carried out by NCR, the planfocus partner for Central Europe. CPTO® offers financial institutions a high-performance multivendor cash management solution to better plan and monitor the cash supply chain. The solution controls, optimizes and monitors all cashpoints ? such as ATMs, deposit machines, cash recyclers, teller cash recyclers and POS workstations ? to optimize cash stocks and deployment of the CIT (cash-in-transit).
